WILDCATS SPORTS WEEKLY PODCAST:

In August of 2016, we launched the weekly Wildcats Sports Podcast show for the fall sports season as a test run. Plans to run a full program were cancelled in the 2017-2018 school year for many different reasons least of which was staff time and resources. However, we are currently planning on returning the Weekly Podcast show for the 2019-2020 school year. The show is scheduled to start in July to begin the focus and hype for Fall Sports.

Each weekly episode is generally scheduled to be released on Thursdays. With recording taking place in the studio and on campus throughout the week. Each episode runs around 30-40 mins in length with three distinct segments:

The Lead Segment:

The first segment of the show is aptly called "The Lead." This segment is when we will catch up all of the Wildcat fan bases on the events of the previous week and take a look at what is coming up the in next week. We will provide insight and analysis for active sports on their various paths throughout their seasons, highlighting performances of teams and athletes.

The Interview Segment:

The second segment of the show will interview a weekly special guest or guests. These could be student-athletes, coaches, administrators, news personalities, officials or anyone else of interest to the show.

The Take-Five Segment:

To close out every show, the host will take up to five questions from you the fans! Do you have a question about Waterford Sports? Maybe you have a comment or a thought you want to share with the rest of the Wildcat community or the host and his guests? This part of the segment allows you the listener to participate each week in the show and discussion.
