#2 QB Mike Vivo Looks To Pass

Waterford (1-0) routed Hirem Johnson (0-1) on Friday Night at Wildcat Stadium. The game started with an on-side kick from the Johnson Warriors who recovered the ball at mid-field. Other then that one mistake the Wildcats controlled the rest of the game. They scored by air and by ground. The Wildcats racked up a 36 - 0 victory at home with 5TDs and 3 - 2 point conversions on the night.

It was the first shut out for Waterford Football since November 2013, a game in which Waterford shutout Turlock Christian.

QB Mike Vivo was sensational through the air with 3 passing touchdowns. RB Zach Hughes tore up the ground game for Waterford. WR David Staley and WR Manuel Alverez had several spectacular receptions.

This upcoming Friday night, Waterford will face cross-bridge rival Hughson (1-0) who is coming off a 27-0 shutout of Johansen from Modesto. Game time is 5:30PM for JV and 7:30PM for Varsity.
